Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit

Kiss got it right when they put pro in the name of this lash kit. I am a a false lash novice but thanks to
Kiss I looked like a total pro. The kit comes with the lashes, glue and an applicator. The glue has a great
does foot applicator that I had not seen before. It made placement easy and quick. I think I may have been
a bit heavy handed on my glue because it took a bit longer than 1 minute to start to set. Placement was
easy! I got these lashes on in a snap!

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit retails for $4.99 and are available at Walgreens stores nationwide. For more information and how-to videos, visit EverEZlashes.com.

I have since reapplied these lashes two other times and they were still looking great. For more products from Kiss you can view the website at http://www.everezlashes.com/home

*Disclaimer: I got these for free from Influenster's Voxbox program. The review is my own opinion.

NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact

Thanks to Influenster and New York Color I was fortunate enough to put IndividualEyes to the test.
I received the 0156-08 Dark Shadows set for free for testing and reviewing purposes.
The palette contains 4 shadows, a primer, an illuminator, and a sponge tip applicator; all the things you need to create the perfect smoky eye.

The primer makes a big difference in pigmentation in this set. Without it, the colors are soft and
would be great for the woman looking for a soft wash of color during the day. You do have to be careful with application of the primer. I used my finger to apply and ended up with creasing after 4 hours. A lighter application with a brush would help control that.

Ready to see the colors in action on my arm?

The bottom part of my arm had a line of primer and the upper part was swatched without it. You can see a major difference! The first white spot to the left of my arm is the illuminator. I used it in the corner of my eye to give the look a nice little pop. The black farthest to the left has sparkles that did not show up well in my picture.

Overall I am very happy with this set. You can find it in your local stores such as Wal-mart and Family Dollar for less than $6. If you need help finding the product, you can go to http://newyorkcolor.com/ and use their great store locator located at the top right of the website.

This site needs no introduction! Or does it?

Welcome to my journey! I started this blog to share my skin and makeup passion. I am 39 years old. I've noticed that most of the blogs come from a younger perspective than my own and thought others my age (or all ages for that matter) may enjoy another view. So let's get moving and cross those beauty lines.
